Groupe Partouche Announces Sale of Casino Property in Cannes
French gaming giant Groupe Partouche has recently revealed its decision to divest one of its properties in France. While the company has not provided specific details about the sale, it has confirmed that the deal is expected to be finalized in the near future.
Casino Relocation and Sale
The casino in question, which was one of the 41 casinos operated by Groupe Partouche, was relocated to a different location last year. As a result, the building where it was previously located has become unnecessary for the company’s operations.
Located on François Einesy Street in Cannes, a popular resort town on the French Riviera, the building was formerly known as the 3.14 Hotel. In 2016, it was transformed into one of Groupe Partouche’s casinos until its relocation to Palm Beach in December 2024.
The building, with a total floor area of 5,000 square meters, is set to be sold to an undisclosed buyer by the end of Spring 2025. The financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed by Groupe Partouche at this time.
Partouche Partners with Deblock for Crypto Payments
In a separate development, Groupe Partouche has collaborated with crypto payments app Deblock to introduce a seamless cryptocurrency payment solution. This partnership aims to offer clients a convenient payment experience similar to Apple or Google Pay.
Deblock, founded by former Revolut and Ledger employees, has designed a solution that is compatible with various crypto wallets, enabling instant settlements without the need for ID checks or unnecessary friction.
